Our Partnership
The Justice William McArthy Youth Venture program was born out of Metro United Way's goal to find new, innovative strategies to support the greater Louisville community and the philosophy that through service youth become empowered to attain higher educational goals, make community involvement a priority, and acheive a greater social consciousness. The program was named after Justice William McArthy, the first African American appointed to the Kentucky supreme court. Throughout his life, Justice McArthy made community service, activism and leadership a priority within our community - the Youth Venture program hopes to continue this legacy!
